Isten Alld Meg a Magyart!

We made it to Budapest! and we've been running ever since! We've seen the Parliament...

...Visited Heroes Square...

...saw the Chief of all Magyars, Arpad...

...communed with Szent Istvan, the first Hungarian king and arguably most persuasive missionary...

... Bubbled and bobbed with the locals at the Szechenyi thermal baths...

...scaled to the top of the newly-painted-in-brown Buda Castle...

...Took a walk with the world's most famous Californian, Ronald Regan...

...mourned for the 600,000 Hungarian Jews who were killed in the holocaust...

...saw the frilly spire of Szent Mattyas church...

... danced with the locals...

...and marveled that some people still drive this fine example of Soviet engineering and prowess with Formica...

And we've only been here two days!!!

  1. Wow! What great pictures and awesome adventures! And to think, all I've accomplished today is teach my brother how to build a Pivot Table. You may want to look into your family history though - I'm seeing a pretty striking resemblance between Craig and Szent Istvan. Something to think about. :)
